9/11/14- Read Obama's speech for Monday. Be ready to discuss fallacies and other rhetorical devices. You also must post to the wiki for Monday.
8/19/14- Meet in media center on Wednesday, 8/20.
8/14/14- Link for Outliers wiki.
Use the wiki link at the top to access class discussion on a variety of topics. In order to post to a discussion, you must first click join. You then create a username and password or use an existing one if you have an account. Then you should see a tab that says "New Post." You are then free to comment on the discussions. If you use a username that is not easily identifiable as you, then you need to tell me what your user name is, so you can get credit for your posts.
Please check out the ALA website on banned and challenged books. Choose a book or two that you are surprised to see on the list and find out what earned them their place.
